Cookie policy

Last updated on 9 October 2026. Here you can read which cookies we use and what for.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website places on your device. They can, for example, remember which language you chose.

2. Which cookies we use

NameWhat forHow long
yap_langRemembers your language choice (Dutch or English).1 year
yap_gateDuring the test phase, remembers that you have entered and which page you are on.Until you close the browser
yap_themeRemembers whether you chose light or dark mode, when you click the sun or moon button. It stays in your own browser (localStorage) and is not sent to us.Until you clear it
_GRECAPTCHA (from Google)Protection against spam, only when you start filling in a form.6 months

These are functional cookies. They are needed to make the site work the way you want, so we do not ask for consent for them.

3. What we do not use

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising or statistics. The only cookie from another company is the one from Google reCAPTCHA, and only when you start filling in a form (see below).

4. Fonts from Google

We load the site’s fonts from Google Fonts. Google does not set a cookie for that, but it does receive your IP address. You can read more about this in the privacy statement.

5. Protecting the forms (Google reCAPTCHA)

As soon as you start filling in a form, we load Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. Google sets a cookie called _GRECAPTCHA on your device for this, which is valid for about 6 months. Google also uses data such as your IP address and how you use the page to judge whether you are a human. This is needed to protect our form. You can read more in the privacy statement and in the Google privacy policy.

6. Deleting or blocking cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site then no longer remembers your language choice, and during the test phase you may have to enter your access code again.

7. Changes

If we start using other cookies later, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where needed.
